Jack Hughes


Jack Hughes is an experienced research and stakeholder management professional in the fields of local economic development and organisational development. In his role as an Analyst for New Economy (now Greater Manchester Combined Authority’s Research Team), Jack completed extensive economic analysis, developing GM’s labour market evidence-base and supporting project appraisal. More recently, Jack’s roles as an Analyst and Business Development Manager for GC has seen him develop GC’s business support offer.

Jack has a First-Class Politics, Philosophy and Economics (PPE) degree and was Chair of the ‘The Post-Crash Economic Society’ which is the leading movement to reform economics educations and is now part of a global network of 100 groups and a registered umbrella charity, Rethinking Economics.
